Sea Salt or Dry Salt
Sea salt is produced by the natural evaporation process of sea water. Salt water is first captured in shallow ponds and allowed to evaporate by means of the sun and wind. The wind-evaporated and sun-purified salt is then washed, screened and packaged. In natural sea salt production, environmental conditions directly influence salt quality through the quality of its main raw material - sea water. The sea salt lumps are crushed in machine as per particle size required and iodine is mixed by sprinkling on it up to 30ppm. |
| PDV Salt or Scientific Name: - Rock Salt: |
Not used for human consumption. The salt is used mainly in drilling of oil and oil exploration, work over, cement additive. |
| Salt For Technical &Agricultural Uses: |
Salt is used for dying, bleaching, tanning and other industries where fine and dry salt is required.30ppm anti caking is mixed in PDV salt |
Industrial Salt:
Not Used for Human Consumption. It is a key component in the production of chlorine (use in water treatment faculties),Caustic Soda(use in dyestuff textile and detergent),Soda Ash (use in glass and soap) etc. It is also an ideal chemical raw material and is very popular in Petrochemical and Chemical Plant. |
